Summary of group, forum or network:
This network joins together Leeds providers of Homelessness Services and providers of Learning and Skills services.

There is a lot of good work and partnerships already in existence, but too often people living in temporary accommodation can often miss out on opportunities to get back into learning, skills and employment.

This network seeks to overcome the barriers by working together to meet our common outcomes and set up pathways to employment that also support re-settlement

Providers came together at an event in May 2010 hosted at the new purpose built St George´s Crypt Training rooms to discuss these issues, meet each other and find new opportunities for joint working.

They agreed to continue meeting and to form a network to develop more joint working in future. The date of the next meeting is below and you are welcome to join the network if you are active in providing homelessness or learning, skills and employment opportunities in Leeds.
